It's great to see that the Shapes are spreading!! This was my last year at the UofL, and it's nice to think that a part of me will always be present :) ps Sorry to the cleaning staff... but they're VERY sticky so you might as well just embrace them!

For the last two days, the Univeristy art department has put on an open house. I took this opportunity to spead the Shapes... hoping for more responses in the next few days! :) I love seeing the photographs, thank you and I hope you enjoy your Shapes as much as I do!

Interstitial Space... THE INVASION

The assignment was simple... bring attention to and use the interstitial spaces of our lives in an art project.

I decided that this was the perfect opportunity to spread out my "shapes", to allow them to take over our world and to inhabit these "interstitial spaces". It would have been fairly simple to spread these "shapes" on my own, but this project leant itself to an experiment much more intriguing...
I printed off stickers of these "shapes" and set up a little booth at my studio. Here, I left a pile of stickers, along with my email address, and instructions reading:
"Please take one... or many... and stick them wherever you chose! All I ask is that you take a photograph of the "shape" in its new environment and send it to me. Please feel free to take one for your friends!"
